Shadow Banning and Facebook
I’m convinced that Facebook’s algorithm isn’t equal and distributes some peoples’ posts more than others.
Here is why. I check someone’s wall and I look at how many likes and comments are there and they get some. Then I go back 12 hours more and the number hasn’t changed.
That means the majority of people get their traffic from the news feed, not by checking on specific people. Which means that if some people are held back on the news feed, then less people see their posts. And so you can essentially drastically reduce someone’s traffic by “shadow banning” like this.
Because I know the same posts, posted as comments on a blog, would be getting reactions.
