Comments on anti-interventionism, Clinton and Trump

I always warned anti-interventionist Trump voters that a lot of Republicans supported George Bush and John McCain and so Trump could take their votes and then sell them out after the election. Despite these warnings, I voted for Trump, because Clinton just couldn’t be tolerated as the face of the supposedly more progressive party and there was a chance Trump wouldn’t sell them out.

My other rationale is that Clinton would sell her wars more successfully to the public, because she would smooth it over, while Trump would kind of be a little too obvious about what he was doing. Finally getting rid of Clinton opens up the door for many reasonable Democratic candidates. Getting rid of Trump only opened the door to Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush.
