The outcome of the Floyd case matters quite a bit. Because if Floyd in fact died of a Heroin/Fentanayl – Meth – Covid overdose, it would mean the protesters rioted for nothing, as has been the case in the past and the Taylor and Brown cases are similarly weak. If not, though, it would mean that I would still oppose the hijacking of the protests, but otherwise would see the protests as having a leg to stand on.
