What’s going to end the consensus view on antiracism is when white people who think they’re privileged realize that they’re economically screwed. I’m more cynical. I can see in advance. But a lot of these college grads will figure out that the gravy train isn’t there for them.
The new consensus will kind of be that everyone gets screwed by our current system in different ways, white or black (college educated or not), compared to the current consensus that things are working, but blacks need to join the middle class and only racism is stopping that.
