Conservative Democrats failed to differentiate themselves from Conservative Republicans. Then too many of them supported GWB’s war on terror, due to bad intelligence. That’s the problem. Conservative Democrats are CULTURAL conservatives, not free market conservatives.
edit: The more libertarian Reaganomics are a trap for white gentile conservatives, to divert them from a more authentic, collectivist viewpoint that looks upon coastal elites and corporations negatively.
