I understand not wanting to be Catholic. But biblical inerrancy seems like an extreme reaction to Catholicism, like an attempt to make humans into something more than humans. I think once you accept predestination, you can start to do away with both ritualism of Catholicism and the biblical inerrancy of some protestants.
