One thing that differs me from the view of new testament christians is that the flesh, activities and earthly behaviors of Jesus are not very important. I believe Jesus may have been a doppelganger or vessel of a higher power, but I emphasize that your beliefs towards Jesus don’t affect your destination, which is totally controlled by the higher power. You’re like a fly or insect.
I also don’t believe that the bible is inerrant or that there is a seal of the prophets muhammad style. I believe there could still be prophets right now, and that prophets make human errors left and right.
So basically of all the religions out there, I’m closest to Calvin, but I’m really a new sect.
