This is the fact, Trump’s strategy ALMOST worked. His strategy was to be mean, to bait people, and then have the people take illogical political positions just to be on the opposite side of Trump. I dare say Trump would have defeated most candidates in the primary field.
People who were certain Trump would beat Biden were right about the polls being wrong. But they were wrong that Biden couldn’t separate himself from the party enough to barely squeak it out. It is true that the rest of the party hurt Biden.
