What liberals don’t understand is that Republicans and Democrats are opposites in party structure – they’re not opposites in ideology.
If Republicans support religion, you don’t have to bash it. If they secure the border, you don’t have to open it. If they outlaw abortion, you don’t have to praise it. In fact, this idiotic game of “opposite” that Biden himself avoided almost cost Biden.
edit: The Democratic and Republican parties just by nature, are already different. They’re different intrinsically. You don’t have to take super extreme positions to make them even more different, just by their structure, you’re already differentiated.
