Did Republicans and Democrats Switch?

The most dumb thing I’ve ever heard is that the republican party and democratic party switched. No, that’s not what happened. The democratic party was a big tent party that had liberals and conservatives in it, but it was never the party of big business. What happened is that conservative democrats got sick of the liberals and coaliationed with republicans.
