Guess what, Breonna Taylor’s life mattered. Walter Wallace, Arberry, Floyd, all blacks who lost their lives – their lives mattered. All protesters have the right to protest 100%, no questions asked, no speculation, no debate. That said, I’m not a judge, a prosecutor or a jury.
In other words, should the legal outcomes of these cases not go in the direction that the protesters want, I’m not going to attack our judges, our legal system, say it’s racist, that sort of thing.
What I will never support, is a situation where a large enough crowd, or a large enough band of emails or tweets on twitter, can manipulate legal outcomes. I am confident that our legal system is fair.
