Leftism : People of various racial backgrounds should unify on class lines to gain more power to take on the elite corporate interests that harm everyone.
Liberalism : The racial majority should be constantly reminded how good they have it.
That’s why Trump got in. Leftists became detached from Obama/Clinton.
edit: What I feared about Democrats is that they’d keep nominating firsts – first Black, first women, first hispanic, first naturalized citizen after an amendment, first gay. And that the agenda of neoliberalism would just be ignored while we all go under financially.
