Here’s the problem with what a faction of Democrats do. They make a bunch of protected groups – racial minorities, religious minorities, homosexuals – they lump women in with too even though they’re not a minority – and try to protect those groups. Why not just end at will employment altogether and then you wouldn’t be able to fire someone just because you don’t like them?
Why not just outright cut the at will employment (in incorporated entities)? That will protect everyone without having to list out every group possible while spurning White Males.
If you got rid of at will employment it would equally protect Blacks who get fired by people who are anti-Black as it would the reverse. But it wouldn’t just be race. If you fired someone for their hair cut or politics, that would be all included, none of that is “cause.”
