Let’s say that you’re a person who believes the wars basically fought in self-defense and that the people who allege that they were instead fought for big corporations and foreign lobbies are wrong.
Even if you are one of those people, you would not have the right to deplatform, fire and silence people who disagree with you. And frankly that’s what happened a lot back in the day. The list of targets “cancelled” for opposing the wars is a big list. Trump lies when he says he did, because he would have been cancelled too.
