One way I differ from some leftists is that while I do strongly feel that we should disengage from the role as world policeman, I don’t feel we’re solely responsible for the arrested development of third world countries. But it isn’t our problem and shouldn’t be our problem.
basically I’m not filled with white guilt
I don’t get fired from a job by a group of Indians or feminists or Italians, and say “wait, it’s all justified because Adolf Hitler existed.”
