Warren lost her frontrunner status because she appeared to care more about pathways to legal immigration (such as h-1b visas, green cards, amnesy) than American workers. Whereas Sanders appears like he’s doing what he’s doing to stay competitive with Warren, but that he cares more about workers.
Measuring progress only by diversity is like measuring fitness only by weight. There are a lot of other things that determine if we’re making progress or not. Getting white workers removed from their jobs is not progress. (I’m not sure Warren understands this).
Also, Trump has sold out on tech workers. That was the only thing left that I still had to say positive about him. I agreed with him protecting our jobs from people who pretend we aren’t qualified to do them and then hire people with nowhere near the same talent.
