A lot of “communists” in America are really extreme liberals who want to have a hardcore term. It’s funny when you point out to them that people like Stalin actually locked up homosexuals, banned abortion etc. that mao didn’t take down the great wall of china. They’re in effect anarchists who are claiming to be Maoists and Marxists.
